Stevenson Savart is a history-making Haitian cross-country skier and the nation's first-ever athlete to compete in the sport at the Winter Olympics. Raised in France and a member of the Olympic Mont d'Or club, he served as Haiti’s flagbearer at the 2026 Milano Cortina Games. Savart is known for his advocacy for diversity in winter sports and balances his professional skiing career with his work as a teaching assistant in Pontarlier.
He became the first-ever Haitian cross-country skier at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina. He was chosen as the flagbearer for Haiti during the 2026 Winter Olympics opening ceremony. He was the first Haitian athlete to compete at a Nordic World Ski Championship (2023) and also competed in the 2025 World Championships.
